About me: My name is Matt Lemmon. I started a website to share photos and commetary about my travels around North and South America. Here is the purposed route:

During the course of the next two years, I will drive from Alaska to Argentina. I will meet many new people, as well as connecting with old friends and acquaintances.
While traveling, I will learn as much as possible about local cultures, regional economics, and social conditions. I will study the role of politics in determining living conditions and economic prosperity. I believe that the rising generation has an important role to play in shaping the world's future, and I intend to identify what that role will be.
This site is maintained with the help of my staff.

I don't know how you ended up on friends list, but I read your blog. I have had a similar experience living with, talking to all different social classes and inquiring about the economic structure of the people of the Philippines. I'm not college educated and did not document my experience but nowI wish I had because it was a first hand experience of the struggle of the impoverished. Good work!
