My Brother's Keeper was formed in 2005 in a West Knoxville warehouse. Founding members Doug Pierce, Jeff Phillips, Clyde Knisely, & Eulice Adkins shared a love of God and a desire to serve Him with their talent - talent they believe they were given for a reason. With that in mind, they embarked on a journey, not just to start a Christian Rock band, but to create a ministry to reach and uplift people for Christ through music. Doug's brother Andy joined the band after sitting in on a few jam sessions while visiting from his home in Huntsville AL. God worked it out for Andy to move back home to Knoxville & they set to work writing songs & developing a sound that can be described as edgy old school with modern leanings. The band has endured several personnel changes, with the most recent being the welcomed return of Brian Wright on drums. After two years of playing local gigs they decided it was time to step it up and have now begun work on their first C.D. It is being recorded at River Sound Productions in Maryville, Tn., and will hopefully be out sometime this summer.
Every member of MBK is wholeheartedly dedicated to serving Christ through their music and their love for all mankind. They strive to honor Jesus' command to seek and save that which is lost.
