About me:
'My Cage' is a Manga-influenced comic strip from King Features Syndicate to be launched May 6th (Sundays) and May 7th (Daily) of 2007.

Check us out here!

'My Cage' is about Norman, a young 20-something platypus who wanted to be a world famous writer, but has found himself stuck in a crappy middle-management job that pays the bills but is less than fulfilling.

Luckily he has a sweet girlfriend, lovable pet amoeba, and a few oddball co-workers to help him get through it all.

Can Norm escape impending mediocrity? How will he and his co-workers amuse themselves through the tedium of each 8 hour work day? Isn't it annoying when people write in hyperbole? (Answers: maybe, various ways, and yes)

Here are our some sample strips (for more strips see our blog section above!): sup

Who I'd like to meet:
Ed:
Fans of comic strips...especially ones who have lots of disposable income they may want to spend on merchandise adorned with Manga-style, anthropomorphic animals.

Melissa:
I'd like to meet Rachael Ray!

Dont much about him...but I can say this...he is one of few innovators of shock comedy (next to Lenny Bruce). I enjoyed some of Bill's work (every now and then, I will go on Youtube and look him up)

But great work on the comic strip !!!
I can tell you that if they ever make this into a movie I can tell you who should provide the voices.

> Thanks fot the add! :D

Sure! :)

> Sorry it took awhile to get back to you though.

That's okay; my current email address for here is an old one, because of that the site doesn't forward notifications. Every time I try to change the email address it sends the confirmation to customer service using the dead email address. :/ Brilliant.

> Love Jim Croce, btw. Also, LOVE the phrase cuddleslut. Never heard that before. Now I must rip it off! :D

Hee hee! I love Jim's work. He's one awesome dude. I can play some of his music on my guitar; my finger-picking isn't quite up to his standards though...

Yesh. *blush* Cuddleslut. 'swhat one of my girlfriends called me. *grins sheepishly*

Er... >.> Know of any available cuties? :)

> Seriously though. Thanks for the add. Drop us a line and let us know what you like and don't like about the strip!

You're more than welcome. Having a personal relationship with a comic strip author is really cool! (Who is this, Ed or Melissa?)

The only other friendship I have like this is my friend Dana Simpson who does "Ozy and Millie" (www. ozyandmillie. net)

Yip! *swishes her foxy tail* ^^ Milile's my adopted daughter on a virtual world :) (not canon to the strip though)

Comic strips you should fued with:
Garfield - because Jim Davis needs to do SOMETHING.
Calvin & Hobbes - because Bill Watterson needs to unretire.
Nancy - because that strip sucks so damn hard.

Comic strips you shouldn't fued with:
Boondocks - you would be killed.

Hey! I haven't been around much lately, but I just want to let you guys know that I've been setting aside a few minutes daily to visit your site on kingfeatures to read your strip! It continues to be excellent, so I felt I should pop by while I have a few minutes and say, once again, "KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK!" :D
