“She has that certain deeper rock voice that you really don’t expect from a female vocalist, but it was a welcomed surprise. She even shared some originals that will blow your mind away. She’s amazing…Go hear her, you won’t be disappointed!” – Rachel Rocks, PA MUSICIAN

“Mycenea Worley didn’t start playing guitar until she was 21, but since then she has played in a number of bands and now she is playing solo acoustic shows to showcase her folksy sound. Her voice sounds a lot like Natalie Merchant's. “ – Spottobe.com

The 717 AWARDS - What an awesome way to kick off the summer! Nick from THE DOCTOR'S OFFICE put together a first class event! There were so many talented people in that place. Today is June 9th. I'm leaving for a cross-country trip on the 14th right after the BREWHOUSE BON VOYAGE EXTRAVAGANZAAAA. ;-) I'm starting to get things packed up and it's sinking in. I've got 7 weeks and no solid plans for where to go - so it's exciting and also a bit overwhealming. I'm so excited to see the USA this way - driving on back roads - going where the wind blows. I'll have lots of material for my next album. I'm already jonesing to get back to SATURATION ACRES to work with BRET and make more music!

Unfortunately the CD won't be ready before I leave. The design process is moving much more slowly than I'd hoped - Next time I'll know to start earlier! It's all a learning process, right? I'll have them ready to go when I return in August. In the meantime, keep listening on here and please don't think I'm ignoring you if I don't write back or accept friendsip requests right away over the next few weeks. I assure you that I love you - I'm just taking a little break from all of this computer magic and I'll be back before you can say superduperspiffariffic. ;-)

A LITTLE BIT ABOUT ME:
I love writing, arranging, giving covers some of my own flavor, learning from other musicians and, of course, performing.
Come on out and catch a show, you'll hear a wide range of music from every genre... Country classics like Patsy Kline and Johnny Cash, American standards – like “Blue Moon” and “Dream a Little Dream” as well as a mish-mosh of great songs from the 50's - present. And of course I throw some of my own in to the mix as well...
Music has put me in touch with so many wonderful people. I've met some of my closest friends as a result of playing. A big thank you to everyone who has supported me - you're all part of the music that I play. I hope to see you soon!
