About me: I have a colorful background. I grew up around lots of amazing comedians back in the 80's due to my parents. The Comedy Store in Hollywood was my home-away-from-home and I managed to see many careers take off from that special place on the Sunset Strip.
My father is legendary Sammy Shore and my mother is Mitzi Shore who owns both the La Jolla and Hollywood locations. My brother is Pauly Shore, who needs no introduction -- who does not know Pauly, right?
I am Sandi Cee Shore. What does that tell you? My parent's definitely had a sense of humor and I can appreciate that.
I have been teaching comedy worskhops at The Comedy Store since 1992. Currently I live in La Jolla and that is where I teach. Once or twice a year I make it up to the Hollywood location to teach a workshop.
I love to help people find "the" character in themselves to make people laugh. I truly believe anyone, no matter if you are an aspiring comedian or not, will benefit from laughter. It is healing.
I am a free-thinker who shys away from judgement and I believe that is what makes me a good teacher. I have many students who have become successful comedians over the years and am very proud of their accomplishments. I want this to be a place where we can network and get to know each other -- and simply be ourselves for a time.
Hey Sandi, thanks for the add ! Chk out my show Apr. 1st at the Belly Up with "Dante". Go to my page or , www. bellyup. com / Apr. 1st . Please be my guest if you can come. I'll add you to the VIP list. Peace. Bob Murphy/Laughing @the Moon Productions
Gosh, it's been FOREVER since I've talked with you. I miss our long chats on how we can save the world. lol
I dropped off my daughter at the airport today. boo-hoo-hoo. It always sucks to have to put my kids on a plane. I dropped my son off at LAX on Saturday. His flight was delayed 5 hours, poor guy. He sat there with nothing to do...Austin, being a teenager, told me it was a total buzz-kill.
Got your message. Thanks for dropping by our little page. Hey, my song was deleted by the artist, so I grabbed yours since it's cool. I hope you don't mind. I just don't have time to look for another one right now. The rush is on. Sorry I missed Pauly and Sammy's show. I'm bummed. The timing was definitely not right. We'll be down there soon enough, though.
Hugs and kisses! (Can't wait to open presents in a couple of days! Whoo-hoo!)
Thanks for the "Add" I love Comedy and everything funny in this world. I think your Mom is a genius, and the Comedy Store is my favorite place to go!!! Have a BEAUTIFUL Sunday
