www.iancole.org.uk ** I am a fashion and art photographer who prefers to work with creative and like-minded people. I generally get my work from referral, which is what i prefer and tend to work with people who are passionate about what they do. I work more with models, agencies and magazines but welcome all who work in the arts - including bands, singers, performers, artists, painters, galleries, make-up artistes, hair stylists, fashion designers, wardrobe stylists, editors, TV, and editorial - PLUS any other creatives i may have missed. I am self-taught with a passion for originality in art, music and fashion. I have an appreciation and clear understanding of shape, form and colour, which is natural to me. Working with light, shadow, silhouette, colour, texture, etc are all part of the creative process. I don’t always get it right, but sometimes, things that don’t look ‘right’ can still look good. I have a very creative and open-minded approach and like to experiment with primitive methods. Natural and alternative light sources are preferred. I favour a raw, gritty and contemporary look, but if you look through my work, i have no creative bias. Oh and i haven’t been doing this that long, this is just the beginning. I charge a daily rate plus travel expenses and i no longer shoot TFCD/P - i charge a flat rate for tests of new faces UNLESS i scout you and think i can use you in my book or for an editorial project.
