About me:
Crossing Borders is smal and active international NGO based in Elsinore, Denmark.
The mission of CB is to facilitate an impartial dialogue space and provide skills trainings for youth, young journalists and educators from conflict areas. The primary regional focus of CB is the EuroMed region.
The core activities of CB comprise training courses, seminars and workshops in conflict management, intercultural communication and media skills.
The visible face of CB is the bi-monthly regional CB magazine by and for EuroMed youth.
The magazine is published in 10.000 copies and handed out at schools and other official institutions.
The target groups of CB are EuroMed youth, young journalists and educators.

• The Finnish Institute in the Middle East

Since 2006, Crossing Borders has worked under the patronage of the Danish national commission for UNESCO.
In recognition of its work for EuroMed dialogue, the Fondazione Mediterraneo and the Anna Lindh foundation for the dialogue between cultures awarded Crossing Borders an honourable mention in the Euro Mediterranean awards for dialogue between cultures 2006, under the theme of “Mutual respect among people of different religions or any other belief”.
