Ever since he can remember Tom Simonetti aka Mycrotom, a German with Italian
roots and family ties in Canada, has been on the move. Just eight years old the
musician was already travelling the land with his mother´s rock band, gathering early
stage experience with his quickly discovered talent for drumming. After seven years
in Ontario his family returned to Germany where, after a number of further moves, he
found a new home in the tranquil region of Allgäu, between dreamy mountains and
lakes.
"Since my childhood I have been magically drawn towards all things Science Fiction,
colourful LEDs, synthesisers, electronic devices, computers and bass-dominated
music." And like many of his peers Tom, too, soon discovered how to tease amazing
beats out of his beloved Amiga 500. The resulting works first served as a soundtrack
to his friends´ journeys to the next party, followed by a number of band projects.
Mycrotom - combining the measurement unit for minute particles with his own first
name - is Simonetti´s first solo outing: "Usually I am busy with organising the
Beatznbytez Foundation I co-founded or acting as drummer, electronic musician or
producer for other projects. "In Mycrotom´s minimalist music carefully accentuated
elements enrich a sparse, hypnotic groove, at times reminiscent of seminal electronic
pioneer Bomb the Bass. "Most of my songs come out of spontaneous sessions in the
studio. And then... reduce to the max!"
Meanwhile, mycrotom is still running the comunity beatznbytez. Performes Net label Sets and co-operates with his friend leroy schlimm as drummer in their Band rhytm police. Also drumming and making electronic beats on stage @ Theater Augsburg in 2007.

Stefan Goldmann (panoramabar berlin/innervisions/perlon/macro/ovum/classics)... Stefan Goldmanns veröffentlicht Platten auf Classic,Ovum(Josh Wink!1), Perlon( Ricardo Villalobos, Zip..), bei Dixons und Åmes Label Innervisions- dem wohl interessantesten House- und Techno Label dieser Tage- und mit eines unserer Lieblingslabels- wohl gemerkt!! Auf seinem eigenen Label Macro Records veröffentlicht er neben seinen eigenen Produktion Platten von Peter Kruder (Kruder & Dorfmeister), Ricardo und Villalobos, Raudive (Cocoon) und Santiago Salazar (Underground Resistance!!!), er ist Resident- Dj im wohl bekanntesten Club der Welt, der Panoramabar/Berghain in Berlin.....seine Platten tauchen regelmäßig in allen Playlists von Sven Väth über Dixon bis hin zu Ricardo Villalobos auf......und, er besucht uns diesen monat- am 23.5 im Schwarzen Schaf..
Jesse Siminski aka Heartthrob ist Künstler aus dem unmittelbaren Umfeld von Richie Hawtin’s „Minus“-Label und hat sich mit seinen Veröffentlichungen längst weltweit etabliert: Mit seinem Track „Baby Kate“, welcher 2006 auf der „Min2Max“-Compilation (Minus Records) erschien, ist er bereits in die Technogeschichte eingegangen und seine Arbeit hat sich bereits soweit herumgesprochen, dass u.a. Depeche Mode einen Remix haben anfertigen lassen….
