  • Bio

In a time when rock music seems lost and there is no one to look up to; in steps My Darling Murder. Bringing back the days of mystery and true danger to hard rock music, My Darling Murder combines the feel of old school industrial music (think early NIN, 16 volt) with its dark lyrical themes and the hard rock hook sensibility you would expect from Linkin Park. Originally conceived in mid 2004 by childhood friends Tim Kelleher (bass), Andy Gerold (guitars and programming), and Elias Mallin (drums), My Darling Murder (or "MDM") remained in the planning stages while each of its members evolved musically with various groups and landing gigs with some of the biggest artists and groups worldwide. Despite being highly sought after hired guns, these three ultimately wanted to be in a band with each other to play and create music that would destroy the world... but they still needed to find their perfect front man. The final piece to the puzzle came in the form of vocalist, Jared Woosley (Fivespeed). The band, enthralled with Jared's presence and vibe, approached Woosley in early 2009 with the proposition of collaborating and singing for MDM. Jared agreed and with the creative process now in motion, My Darling Murder began to take it's final, bone-crushing form. Songs like "The Habit," "Caroline," and "We Are Not You", give a little glimpse into the dark and jagged road these rock-n-roll soldiers have travelled to bring My Darling Murder to their already growing legion of fans. 2011 and beyond: The band has just collaborated on their first E.P. with long time friend and well-known producer, Sean Beavan (NIN, Manson, Slayer, A Perfect Circle, No Doubt, Thrice) and despite being recorded in secret sessions throughout the US, the new E.P. is already garnering huge buzz from music fans and the industry alike. The band are scheduled to perform their debut show in Los Angeles at the Viper Room on May 31, 2011, with plans to tour nationally later on this year.
