My Deja Dead are a four piece hardcore New Rave and from Whitburn Michael and Shaun met while attending the My Chemical Romance concert and decided to form a real emo band. Barry and Kyle were playing in a cross dressing travelling band called 'The Breakers'. As soon as they met Michael and Shaun, the four discused ideas and decided to combine each of their individual sounds.
To date My Deja Dead have played numerous support roles including slots on the 'Give It A Name' tour, and aquired a multitude of TV appearances including on lesser known British talk show 'Tonight With Jonathon Ross', Jonathon heard the band while they were supporting his nephews band 'Carcass' and decided they would be perfect for the kind of youthful hardcore audience he appeals to.
With an album out in Summer 2007 and a full world tour to promote it, the boys from 'My Deja Dead' look set to take the emo world by the converse.
My Deja Dead have not 'Done a Placebo' and fucked each other, contrary to internet rumours.
The band have merely spooned.
