MY DYSFUNCTIONAL ME was formed in May 2004. Searching for an ORIGINAL sound. The founders of the band: Mike Bosco ( Drums) , Jeff Delozier ( Rhythm & Lead Guitar) , Mike Givens ( Rhythm & Lead Guitar), Mike Baker ( Bass), and Steve Streeks ( Vocals), began to brainstorm to create something they could call their own. Within a month MDM played their first show. With lots of support from friends and local bands alike, they never looked back and continued to play virtually every local venue and party. With growing support they were inspired to devote most of their time and energy to bring out the best in the music and performance.
2007 has rolled around, With an excellent show played at Stramler Park, Bakersfield, Ca. The main stage was taken by us along with Kotton Mouth Kings, and The Warriors. We also stoped by KRAB radio to shoot the shit with MeatHead and Rocky Nash. Now, were taking a couple of short months with long days to write new material with the newest guys in the band, Wyatt and John. Wyatt and Mike have been playing music together since the age of 15, and know what direction to take this new sound of MDM. John is an incredible drummer with a lot of energy and ideas for the new direction! Steve is definatly enjoying some new material to work with. He's got some sick ideas and taking on a new side of himself as well. Everything is coming together and all of us are anticipating shows in the NEAR future. For you already true fans out there that have been from the start, Dont worry, were still going to play the old songs you heard on the radio, and watched MDM perform in the past. WERE GOING TO KICK THE SHIT OUT OF EVERY CITY WE HIT UP!
