My Enchantment started in 2000. The band recorded a live CD in 2002 and the first DEMO CD titled “The Last Season Of Life” in 2003. With the demo recorded and several contacts, the band performed various concerts all over Portugal.
In 2005 the band won the 1st prize on a National Garage Band Contest, which helped the band to go into studio to record the first album.
In 2006, their first album is released, titled “sINpHONIC”. Also, in that year, the band went up to a new level, winning 1st place in the LOUD! METAL BAND CONTEST (a national metal bands contest) and getting the vote from the readers of the LOUD! Magazine for the "2nd Best National Band without a Contract” for the year of 2006.
Since then the band shared stage with some of the greatest national bands and also international bands (hED P.E., MNEMIC, RAMP, BIZARRA LOCOMOTIVA).
For 2008, My Enchantment are preparing their next album, which should be ready for the end of the year. The album will feature new songs never played, as long as some already known from live performances (Someone Else's Nightmare, Beneath Your Wings, Deep Throat, The Infection..) for some people.

Comé maltinha, prontos para mais um tema do nosso 1º EP "SEMENTES DA DESORDEM"?
Já podem escutar o revisitado tema "BAR DA GNR", tema nº 2 do EP e que precede às "GUITARRAS DE GUERRA". Este tema já com alguns anitos lavou a cara e foi gravado no inicio de 2009 com novos arranjos, mantendo no entanto todo o carisma que vez dele um dos hinos dos ERVAS DANINHAS. Durante 20 dias, mais ou menos, vão poder entrar no "BAR DA GNR" e buer uma cervejola e morfar uma entremeada e até mesmo apanhar uma carraspana sem ficarem de cana... Dêm gás no volume e acordem os vizinhos... pelo menos aqueles que dormem a sesta ao Domingo à tarde. O "BAR DA GNR" contou com a presença de dois convidados muito especiais, foram eles o Igor e o Arroja dos SHIVERS, que por entre copos de binho e assaltos à sacristia ainda tiveram tempo para uma ida à Sela... ops, desculpem o erro... uma ida à cela.
