For me, maybe like some of you, being a teenager was anything but pleasant. From anxiety about school, friends, peer pressure, family life, not liking – or even knowing – who I really was, to worrying about not fitting in, my teen years were filled with feelings of confusion, frustration and self-doubt.
So this is for you! It’s a guide for teen girls. Take what you can from it to learn to love yourself from the inside out, to start making good decisions for yourself, to become satisfied and confident with who you are, and to realize your uniqueness!
Spirited Youth is a organization for and about girls, founded by me, Debra Beck in 2005. Its mission is to help young girls have a better sense of who they and make better decisions in all areas of life by learning how to love themselves and becoming empowered with self-esteem.
