My Friends Kill My Folks's Blurbs |
About me:
We thought we'd pick some people we like to play a night in London. But first we needed a name. We discussed this at length. Tony suggested "My Friends Kill My Folks" after a Herman Dune song, because we both love Herman Dune, and Ben suggested "Geek Mythology" because he thought it sounded funny. We went for "My Friends Kill My Folks" in the end, mainly because we feared people playing might not want to be called geeks.
The third night will be on Tuesday 6th January 2009 with Paul Hawkins & Thee Awkward Silences, Ten Foot Nun, Superman Revenge Squad and Adam from Nosferatu D2's new band who are so new that they are currently trying to decide on a name to use.
The second night was on 8th September 2008 at the Windmill in Brixton - with Pocus Whiteface, KTD, Jack Mountain and Superman Revenge Squad.
The first night was on 9th May 2008 at the Cavendish Arms in Stockwell - with Mozzy Green, Laura Hocking, William Nein and Superman Revenge Squad.
