Formally "when in rome" my gambino are a 4 piece pop/rock band based in south wales. winners of the recent 2007 megaday battle of the bands they are currently working on a new ep/music video/radio appearence/ and tour.
My Gambino are James, rob, chris and adam.
Good news for all I have confirmed a photographer to attend all shows, she will take lots of pics of each band and they will all be posted and tagged on here. If you are gonna be a part of our show can you please get as many of your fans and bands your friends with to add to this site and post comments about YOU before and after the gigs as ive been told by the record representative and festival advisors that this site will be their main source of communication and band research not just with me but with all involved. I will be releasing the first dates this week as all the venues I approached confirmed interest and in many cases asked for a running contract to make these shows a weekly or monthly thing at there venue and are negotiating discounted drinks for people who attend aswell!! The more people who join this page the better it is for all of us , I have shortlisted all who replied. Please message me if you have any questions

Indeed I was one of the people on the stage at the end - it was the most bizarre thing to ever happen!
First of all we're all dancing and then suddenly people are like 'come on!' and running around the side of the stage, so I'm following thinking 'oh my word, WHAT is going on??' and then next thing I know, we've stormed the stage! Hope you guys didn't mind us doing that! :-)
It was one of the most mental things I've done in a while (which tells you that I don't usually invade stages when other bands are playing hehe)!
Did you gents manage to catch any of the other music during the evening? Did you all have a nice time?

Given we only kicked off the other day things have really got off to a great start, with loads of interest in the Battle of the MySpace Bands contest. We are going all out for at least 3-400 entrants over the course of the next 6-8 weeks.
A big thank you to Dedicated, Emma, Razor, Isla, Dave the Drummer and Shredding the Low End over States Side for all their support.
Thanks also to you for taking the time to ADD to us.
This is where things start to really heat up with the power of viral marketing (no don't worry it is not some sort of sexually transmitted decease....no trust me the Doc said I had nothing to worry about..lol.)
We'd like you to take a few moments of your time to forward this comment to at least 10 of your friends asking them to ADD to the sight before the end of the week and then to forward the comment on to 10 friends getting them to ADD and forward the comment on to....and so on and so on.
Whilst at it can you also please encourage any bands that you have in your Friend lists to ADD and enter the contest. Instructions for doing so are in the About Me. We really want to make this a truely global affair so it doesn't matter which country they come from.
