I am My Glass Eye, an acoustic singer/songwriter in the East Riding of Yorkshire. I'd describe my sound as being indie/folk with gothic overtones. My songs are rustic and have haunting, melodic and gritty moments. My Glass Eye began after deciding the only way forward was on my own, having spent many years in different bands. However, unlike most that decide a similar path, I was hesitant to use my real name. This was for many reasons; being a private person, wanting a more exciting name, not being tarred with the same brush as every other singer/songwriter. Ultimately, it came down to the fact that My Glass Eye is about the music and nothing else. I'm working on an album at the moment and also playing at various acoustic nights.

The opening night is now back to the original date of Friday 24th August. Sorry to keep changing it but I can assure you it wont change again! There will still be a Dirty night on Friday 28th September, so keep both dates pencilled in your diary!
I also must mention that my myspace page was hacked over the weekend and any obscene images were not added by myself, and have now been removed. Sorry if any offence was caused by these images.

Thought i'd let you know that the opening night of Dirty has had to be put off until Friday 28th of September (not 24th of August as previously advertised).
There will be a different night on Friday 24th of August but this will be run by a different promoter.
I'll keep you posted on details of the Dirty night such as the DJ line up.
