The ‘Leper’ EP was recorded during spring and summer 2008 at My Glorious’ Vienna studio. The guys had been doing a fair amount of recording purely for the sake of experimenting with different recording methods and sounds but a release hadn’t been planned for 2008. An unexpected opportunity to tour the southern U.S made a record necessary.
So all the material was reviewed, re-arranged and partly rerecorded and out came ‘Leper’.The sound of the EP is rough, raw and powerful, offering an alternative to the polished, often shallow music of today. ‘Leper’ is a good, hard look into the minds and lives of these three guys that love to create music and feel the need to express themselves. The music is strong and the lyrics very straightforward – ‘an honest attempt to understand life’, Samuel (lead-singer and guitarist) comments.

Biography
When powerful beats meet genuine lyrics then you’re most probably listening to my glorious. The trio from Vienna have committed themselves to not only groovin’ but also offer expressive, strong and meaningful lyrics that go deep. The rawness of their style underlines the honesty in their songs and does by no means keep them from producing intriguing melodies.
My Glorious formed in January 2008. The setup resulted out of a break-up of a former band called “fresh” who had been playing for over seven years and had toured UK, Germany, Bosnia, Serbie, Croatia, Slovakia and Austria and had the privilege of playing large events as well as many club gigs. After two of the five members left the band, one of them being the lead singer, the remaining three decided to take up the challenge of a rock trio. Hence there are six hands playing guitar, bass and drums, one steady foot stomping the beat and a distinctive voice that gives the band a memorable sound.
My glorious’ songs are not only an expression of the bands heart but can be portrayed as a mirror image of the soul of the main songwriter and guitarist, Sami Fischer. “Even if not all the songs are autobiographical they do show my understanding of life.” On stage he will share things that others would be afraid to even tell their therapist. “A musician is someone who doesn’t want to pay for therapy, we want to earn money doing it…”says Sami in his usual calm composure and cunning fashion.
My glorious – with the twins Gregor and Paul on bass and drums and the Brit – Sami – on Guitar and Vocals – is meditative, but not at all depressing. It is Garage Beat combined with strong melodies, topped with lyrics that represent an honest attempt to understand life, always wanting to reach the hearts. The result being an honest, genuine and immediate pull at the heart strings.
Apart from a shared passion for music – and in the case of Gregor and Paul a couple of identical genes – my glorious unites 3 very different characters which not only compliment each other but gives them the strength and persistence to prove to the world that my glorious has something unique to offer.

Just got back from Walt Disney World and missed keeping up with you guys as much as I did! We had a long, fun, full week of activities and the lights and fireworks there were beautiful! hi paul, der künstlernachnahme inspiriert unter anderem durch ton steine scherben: menschenfresser menschen und der überzeugung den verschiedenen "göttern" wie zb mammon, eifersucht, hass usw nicht opfer zu sein oder der versuch es nicht zu werden. dieses kann vielleicht im lederer demnächst noch näher erläutert werden ;) beste grüße janix menschenfleisch
