..The Harvest is a Vancouver, BC based original rock quartet which brings together a wide variety of styles and influences, wearing them proudly on their sleeves. Touching on styles such as: Roots and modern rock; punk; country; blues; and ska, The Harvest tags every song with their unique flare for music and playing. Their debut album, Bumper Crop, is available on CD Baby, along with all the digital distribution channels such as iTunes and Puretracks. Released in 2005, it captures The Harvest during their early beginnings in Vancouver, having moved from Victoria. A second release is nearing completion at Aurora Studios, where The Harvest also calls home base. Featuring songs such as, Real Rock and Roll and This One's For The Kids, The Harvest is looking to take the spotlight away from pop music and bring it back to rock music that everybody loves. Currently an independent band, they know that hard work, persistance, and a love for making memorable music will pay off; for its members, and its fans. Not everyone has the opportunity, nor the ability, to create music so The Harvest is here to pick up the slack for everyone!
