HeadCount has teamed up with Relix Magazine and the popular "Wear Your Music" line of guitar string bracelets to make voter registration easier than ever. With a Relix charitable gift made possible by "Wear Your Music," HeadCount has invested in state-of-the-art voter registration software. If you're not registered to vote, or just want to check it out, click HERE. This new software makes it easier than ever to complete and print out a voter registration form on line, and also includes absentee ballot information and a polling place finder.
Relix's "Wear Your Music" is a unique program in which guitar and bass strings used by top musicians are crafted into collectible bracelets by AZU Studios. The proceeds from the sale of these bracelets are then donated to charities like HeadCount. Bob Weir, Pete Townshend, Trey Anastasio, Gregg Allman, Les Claypool, Widespread Panic and dozens of other HeadCount artists have contributed their strings, lending a helping hand to various music-related non-profit organizations.

We are a non-partisan, not-for-profit organization devoted to voter registration and participation in democracy. Created in 2004 by a group of artists, music industry professionals and fans, all determined to make sure the live music community is well-represented at the polls.
We've registered over 150,000 voters – more than any all-volunteer group in the country– and also produced nationally televised public service announcements.
We set an all-time record for voter registrations generated on a single concert tour by registering over 12,000 people at Dave Matthews Band shows in 2004.
In 2008 we registered over 100,000 people at over 1,000 events. We staged a massive Get out of the Vote effort helping to generate one of the greatest voter turnouts in history.
The organization was founded by Marc Brownstein, the bass player for the popular electronic rock band The Disco Biscuits, and Andy Bernstein, a sports media reporter who authored the Phish fan guide The Pharmer's Almanac.
Our Board of Directors includes Bob Weir of the Dead along with the promoter of the Bonnaroo Music Fesitval and several top artist managers, musicians and music industry veterans.
HOW DO I GET INVOLVED?
Just click HERE We'll be in touch about opportunities to register voters at specific concerts. In 2009 we have a presence at hundreds of concerts and are enlisting literally thousands of volunteers. Be aware that volunteering for HeadCount is very demanding. We expect our volunteers to be reliable, professional, and show good judgment at all times. Drinking, drugs and being a slacker is not part of the HeadCount experience. Volunteering for HeadCount is an avenue for people to give something back to the community, while achieving their own full potential. If that's the kind of challenge you're looking for, then sign up!
You may also consider donating to HeadCount. The organization is staffed by volunteers and relies on people like you to fund all its activites. 100 percent of any contribution you make to HeadCount will go toward our voter registration efforts. HeadCount, Inc. is a 501(3)(c) not-for-profit, non-partisan corporation (Tax ID # 77-0626772) so your donation is tax-deductible.
WHERE WE'LL BE
HeadCount has teams in several major cities across the country and we will also be at many major festivals this year. For a complete list of HeadCount events go here. To sign up to work one of the events go here!
4Therefore, whoever humbles himself like this child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven.
5"And whoever welcomes a little child like this in my name welcomes me. 6But if anyone causes one of these little ones who believe in me to sin, it would be better for him to have a large millstone hung around his neck and to be drowned in the depths of the sea.
MAY WE ALL BE BLESSED AS CHILDREN OF GOD YOUR SISTER IN CHRIST, ANDREA

Senor, senor, do you know where we're headin'? Lincoln County Road or Armageddon? Seems like I been down this way before. Is there any truth in that, senor?

Well, the last thing I remember before I stripped and kneeled Was that trainload of fools bogged down in a magnetic field. A gypsy with a broken flag and a flashing ring Said, "Son, this ain't a dream no more, it's the real thing."
