Jonathan Price is an accomplished composer for theatre and film. He is best known for his score to the musical LAO JIU and his soundtracks to New Line's CYBER WARS and Showtime's RUSTIN.
AUGUST 2008: RUMPELSTILTSKIN, a children's musical with book and co-lyrics by Jeff Goode (creator of the Disney Channel's American Dragon: Jake Long) is published by Baker's Plays.
JUNE 2008: The mini-opera THE BLUE QUEEN & THE RED SHADOW was performed at The Colony Theatre in Burbank by ANMT, as part the Festival of New American Musicals.
APRIL 2008: The mini-opera THE LION & THE WOOD NYMPH is a finalist in Theatre Building Chicago's STAGES 2008.
APRIL 2008: The track RUSTIN (based on RUSTIN MAIN TITLE), recorded by the flute/harp/cello trio CARISMA, is released on the compilation album CLASSICAL CHILL on Australia's premier classical label ABC Classics (right between Mozart's Adagio from Clarinet Concerto and Ravel's Pavane pour une infante defunte!).
NOVEMBER 2007: The track RUSTIN (based on RUSTIN MAIN TITLE) is released by the flute/harp/cello trio CARISMA on ABC Classics.
AUGUST 2007: THE LION & THE WOOD NYMPH was performed by VocalWorks' New Opera Works in American Fork, Utah.
MAY 2007: The mini-opera THE LION & THE WOOD NYMPH is a winner of VocalWorks' OIAM competition.
APRIL 2007: The song "Ji Tuo" from the musical LAO JIU (see video below) was part of a special musical presentation at Singapore Day '07 in New York's Central Park. JI TUO is a single from the musical LAO JIU. The music video was directed by Kuo Jian Hong, who also directed the premiere of the musical in Singapore.

Hey Jonathan, the videos look and sound great. I still can't get over how good Rustin is. I got a job opportunity out in LA composing and will be moving out there soon. Thanks for all the help and support you've given me this past year. I hope everything's going well for you and take care.
