About me: Hi, I am a keyboard player. Hammond B-3. Synthesizers. I have played with many groups over the years. Many of these groups were R&B and Funk Rock Bands via Hollywood-San Francisco-Seattle-Vancouver BC....(including Ike & Tina Turner, Shirells, Cordova Brothers, El Funko, Chrome Syrcus, Dick Powell, Jay Mabin, Little Bill and the Bluenotes, The Spud Goodman Show, Joe Johansen, Patti Allen, Tom McFarland, Leroy Bell, Ed Taylor, Jerry Miller, Tyran Porter, 'Fuzzy' John Oxindine, Clarence'Gate Mouth'Brown, Larry Curtis, Bill Barner, Steve Cox, Dean Tsaprils, Kenny WilliamSon, Tommy Morgan. I am also a Graphic Designer, having had my own
business specialising in Entertainment Graphics and Packaging.

I enjoy painting, and have been blessed with several gallery showings (including, Tacoma Art Museum)....
I enjoy playing Blues and Funk music, Jam sessions, and the whole musical experience....
The last four bands that I played with were SUB CONSCIOUS POPULATION, TRIBAL VOICES, FIRST MAGIC and PRIMAL FUSION.. some of these were up to 8 or 9 piece World-Beat-Trance-Dance groups.......
Featuring Vocals, Chanting, Didjeridoo's and Hand Drums with various electronica and percussion's..( Sub Pop and Tribal Voices still exist on Vashon Island in Washington State...Go Ron Hook and Tan Cahill)
Having moved down to Colorado Springs from Seattle Wa. I
have been here about 3 years and I am enjoying the music scene.........IF YOU WISH TO HEAR SOME OF MY ORIGINAL MUSIC PLEASE LOOK LEFT AND FIND GRILLED MICE....GRILLED MICE IS A BLUES POWER TRIO..Featuring Mykel Spatz-keyboards/vocals...Larry Curtis-Guitar...Bill Barner-Drums...The entire project was recorded 'one pass' with no overdubs at Steven Beans' T-Town Recordings..1996........*** Below GRILLED MICE you will find~~~~ "LIGHTSTREAM"~~~a trance/meditation piece ~~~ This was done on a Korg M-1 by Mykel Spatz in 2005.....
