Let me introduce you to Dale (Keith) Age 22 on Lead Guitar and Vocals, Johnny (Bear) age 22 on Bass and Backing Vocals, Andy (Ghandi) age 21, on Drums, these are the members of GIRL KILLS BOY, a pop punk/ rock/ emo band based in Castleford near Leeds in West Yorkshire, England.
We formed in fall 2005 and have bean together forjust over 3 years now and we are loving every minute of it (although some of the late drinking sessions can get a bit… shall we say… messy lol). We take our influences from all over he music scene from different genres and time periods. For example Morrissey, Alkaline Trio, and the Coors.
We have recently released our second EP “ SILLOUHETTES AND SUNSETS” , which has gone down a storm in our local band/ music scene, this was a follow up to last years release “THIS IS ME” EP including TELL ME. Which has so far sold 300 and some copies.
Recently we have been busy playing local gigs but are now looking to branching out into the larger areas, for example next year we are venturing out to the wilds of Wales for a small tour (watch out for the killer leeks). We are always writing new material, in fact I don’t think we actually ever stop thinking of new ideas.
We take our music seriously but not too seriously because lets face it, what’s making music without having a bit of fun on the way?!
We are currently writing new material for the new EP (current title LEFT HAND DRIVE) to be released later this year (Short list of tracks [SUBJECT TO CHNAGE] is Pacman Takes Revenge, Time To Say Goodnight, Angels Eyes and Sleeping With The Enemy).
We are also currently booking as many shows as possible so if you can help us out in any way please contact us.

Contemporary interior design with furniture from bmw and deep shag pile carpets, provided together with excellent engineers, affordable rates, fresh coffee and a private terrace we have created one of the best studios in the north for you.
Hiya What a summer its been!! We’ve been working hard in the studio and are currently recording our first commercial EP 'What Katie Did' which will be released around October time. You can hear a demo version on our MySpace.
We are not planning any live shows until we are ready to promote the EP but you never know we may pop up at a venue near you.
