Biography: My Last Mistake originally formed as a duo in 2006. With just acoustic and electric guitars their first EP entitled “Sad Beautiful Day” brought them an immense online following and support; cultivating in over 2 million plays on Myspace within the first few months alone and the signing to major music publisher Universal.
Following this, My Last Mistake went on to write and record material for their highly anticipated debut album (recorded and produced by international producer Julius Butty - Alexisonfire, City and Colour, Protest The Hero), in Canada 2007. “From the bottom of my empty heart” was later self-released in 2008, and has since sold over 5000 copies so far.
Playing Live, My Last Mistake have performed live supporting numerous number one selling artists across the UK (such as Newton Faulkner, Amy McDonald, Kate Walsh, Joshua Radin, Josh Kelley, Dave McPherson (of InMe) and many more). They have also headlined numerous high-end events including VW Action @ Santa Pod, and have performed exclusively for Kerrang! radio, and live for BBC Radio 1, as well as being featured on many local and national radio stations.
To date, My Last Mistake have recently extended their line-up to incorporate full-time member Amber on drums, and are currently working on material for their upcoming EP “Breathe for me“ (to be released later this year). In addition to this, they are also organizing a US and Canadian tour for Summer/Autumn 2009, and a European tour for 2010, and honestly can’t wait! : )
