My late travels are Andrew Harrison on bass, Andrew Reeves on drums and backing vocals and David Gillanders on guitar and vocal.
Influences
We can't put our finger on where ideas come from, we are influenced by almost everything. Bands like The Pixies, The Cure, Tindersticks, The Smiths, Velvet Underground, Bloc Party, Editors and The Shins have all been listened to at one time or another by some or all of us.
Welcome to the My Late Travels myspace page, we are an Edinburgh based three piece, formed in April 2007.
We play together mainly just for fun, spending a couple of hours on a Tuesday evening at Verden Studios in Portobello. We recently spent a very memorable weekend in the recording studio at Verden, with producer and engineer Gavin Fort and recorded the four songs that are on this site.
Our style is kinda indie, kinda poppy, kinda quirky, kinda....
Its always hard to say what your music sounds like, perhaps its better if people leave us some messages / reviews and tell us what we sound like.
Over the next few months we hope to organise some gigs around Edinburgh, so keep in touch, we'll be posting on this site, sending out to friends and we're looking forward to seeing you, playing live and taking our music to the people!!!
