About me:
I love all things quirky, colourful and plain weird. Things that have humour or attitude. I also like simplicity, minimalism and elegance for this is something that does not come naturally to me - I tend to go over the top in everything I do.
I started making these little guys for fun, a hobby and to satisfy my crafty creative urges between work. I love to make them because of the absolute freedom, the possibilities are endless and I find myself dreaming up new ideas constantly. I was so excited when I discovered Etsy, and love the crafty online community. I'm shy by nature but would love to get to know more people. I am a Production designer for Theatre / Film with a drive to become a Concept Artist for film. I'm also interested in environment/character design for video games.
I use pure wool felt and cotton fabric where possible and free hand draw up the patterns (thats if I decide to use one at all!)I hope they make you smile and bring you as much joy as I get from making them! Every Oogabooga is a one-off creation and has it's own big friendly personality.
I love doing commissions, and will do whatever you wish - any colour/style/idea and would be excited to come up with something original and unique just for you. For children under the age of three I can make you a baby-safe Oogabooga without buttons. Feel free to browse my sold orders and request one of them. I also do wholesale orders.
