"First there was a bang. Then there was a clang and then all of a sudden out of the smoke 3 little robots appeared...."
There's more than 3 of them and nothing robotic about their playing. The sounds of Appalachia via Sheffield, Newcastle and London ring out from the right side of the Seven Hills and beyond. This tight knit collective utilise traditional instrumentation such as banjo, ukulele and violin and employ close harmony singing to draw the audience into their love of folk and blues. __________________________________________________________
Little robots came from the brain of Laura Burn Acaster in about 2004 whilst she was making little robots at art school in London. 2009 saw their first gig in and the Little Robots collective was born. Their headquarters are based in Sheffield with branches in Newcastle and London _________________________________________________________
