   About little robots
"First there was a bang. Then there was a clang and then all of a sudden out of the smoke 3 little robots appeared...." There's more than 3 of them and nothing robotic about their playing. The sounds of Appalachia via Sheffield, Newcastle and London ring out from the right side of the Seven Hills and beyond. This tight knit collective utilise traditional instrumentation such as banjo, ukulele and violin and employ close harmony singing to draw the audience into their love of folk and blues. __________________________________________________________ Little robots came from the brain of Laura Burn Acaster in about 2004 whilst she was making little robots at art school in London. 2009 saw their first gig in and the Little Robots collective was born. Their headquarters are based in Sheffield with branches in Newcastle and London _________________________________________________________ This space is here to ensure that the music of miniature humanoid simulacra is enjoyed by the like minded mechanical beings of the universe ________________________________________________________ Bookings are always welcome! If you would like to book us then please send us a message to mylittlerobots@myspace.com or hello@mylittlerobots.co.uk. fAnk you ___________________________________________________________ NEXT LITTLE ROBOTS GIG.....

Greetings Sinners,As part of their on-going quest
to rid the world of ennui and other French philosophical maladies,
THE DEVIL’S JUKEBOX are rolling out the ragtime
red carpet and humping it ‘till the weave gets pilled, THIS
FRIDAY 23rd OCTOBER, at THE PACKHORSE supported by English Music
Hall Maestros
BISCUIT HEAD and the BISCUIT
BADGERS-
expect ukulele, tuba and a sense of the absurd akin to Vivian
Stanshall’s Bonzo Dog Band, featuring Dino Casino, not to be missed.
PLUS the frankly quite splendidTOM ATTAH- expect stompin’,
raw delta sounds from the kick-ass king of Shipley!

Also, for those who are interested, ‘Righteous!’ is back, end of November, DR B.
