LiveSpace is back on the last Sunday of every month, 7.30 to 10.30 p.m., at b@rplace, Crown Street, Hebden Bridge.


New Format! We take PRE-BOOKINGS up to 5 Acts each night for the last 2 hours of the evening, and the FIRST HOUR is left open as a 'free and easy' for performers registering between 7 and 7.30 p.m. on the night. 'Anything Goes' slots will be between 1 and 4/5 numbers depending on number of registrations. Please see FAQs in our blog for more details.

Each pre-booked performer will initially be able to perform 4/5 original numbers plus 1 cover. The line up and breaks are finalised on the evening with all of the performers. Performers are welcome to ask other musician's to join them for any of their numbers.

The main LiveSpace website is undergoing a major upgrade, we will keep you updated on progress. Completion is still ongoing and WILL TAKE A LONG TIME, so please bear with us. Thank you for your patience.

Thanks - I had a really good time and thought it sounded quite good in the new bar.  Definitely a nice place and a great evening out.  Out of interest, did you record the evening?  I know Jude took some photos so I look forward to seeing those in due course!

Static Rain is a 2 piece band from the beautiful Yorkshire town of Keighley. Band members Tony Garthwaite and Jacob Barlow formed the band in 2008, driven by a joint passion for both electronic music and retro synths. The music they produce can be described as electronic pop with catchy choruses and memorable riffs that are prominent in all of their songs, making them popular with a very wide audience.

Following their initial success on MySpace, Static Rain continues to build a solid fan base and a strong reputation as a live act. The band is currently looking for gigs from June 09 onwards throughout the whole of the UK.
