Meem is a celebrated producer from Sydney, Australia. He has been producing and releasing music since 1998, and has performed alongside acts such as Thievery Corporation, Groove Armada, Jamie Lidell, M.I.A, People Under The Stairs, Girl Talk and is soon to support Sharon Jones & The Dap Kings.
From roots in electronica, Meems music has gradually grown towards a more organic live sound. Borrowing heavily from funk, soul, jazz, disco & boogie, Meem also now incorporates guest musicians into his live shows.

Meem is also a DJ and with a mammoth music collection, his musical tastes are nothing short of diverse. An interest in all genres of music makes for dynamic and broad-reaching DJ sets. A love of Funk music (in all its forms) is the backbone of many DJ sets, although aside from Funk you may also hear Disco, Boogie, Hip Hop, Afrobeat, African, Reggae, Soul, Jazz, Hillbilly, Jump Blues, Swing and Instrumental Beats.
Meem also hosts the long-running radio program Back to Funk. The show is aired Mondays 12 -1:30pm on 2SER 107.3FM in Sydney - or online at http://www.2ser.com/ During the 25 year+ history of the show, previous hosts were Heidi Pasqual, Peter Pasqual, Gordon Henderson, Brent Cluss & founder John Potts - and guests have included George Clinton, Kool Bell (Kool & the Gang), Charlie Wilson (Gap Band), and members of James Browns Band. Recent guests to the show have included Lance Ferguson (The Bamboos), Paul Jonas (Tru Thoughts) and Todd Simon (Breakestra, Connie Price & The Keystones, The Lions).
