My Morning Needle meet in the whereabouts of Brescia (northern Italy) in the summer of 2002, thanks to a local newspaper ad. During these years they have played live, done soundtracks for movies and modern dance groups. rives on In April 2007 they issued their self-titled and self produced debut cd, officially distributed in Japan and mastered by Alan Ward at Electric City studio in Bruxelles. Other recent cooperations feature the photographer Alberto Delbono (you can see some stuff of his in the “images” section), live visuals and more music for dance groups. The band is alco currently active live, plying new songs that will appear on their second record. They play very atmospheric music hinting to a sort of post rock and acid psychedelia which evokes either urban and deserts landscapes.

My Morning Needle si formano nei dintorni di Brescia nell’estate del 2002 grazie a un’inserzione su un giornale locale. Hanno suonato dal vivo e proposto musica per film e performance di danza moderna. Nell'aprile del 2007 hanno pubblicato il loro omonimo cd di debutto, autoprodotto, masterizzato in Belgio da Alan Ward all'Electric City studio e distribuito ufficialmente in Giappone. Altre recenti collaborazioni coinvolgono il fotografo Alberto Delbono (che trovate nella sezione "immagini"), filmati dal vivo e altra musica per gruppi di danza. Il gruppo sta proponendo dal vivo nuovi brani che faranno parte del nuovo disco. La loro è musica d'atmosfera a metà tra post rock e psichedlia acida, in grado di evocare paesaggi sia urbani che desertici.
