From his early teens Garry McCartney has been fascinated with electronic music. Artists like Jean Michel Jarre, Alexander Robotnik and more recently James Holden have heavily influenced the music he makes. By the time he had reached 18 he had Djed for many local radio stations and underground venues throughout his home town, Belfast. During this time he also developed his production skills and now devotes his time to this, although Djing (using Ableton) is still a passion. Garry’s style has evolved greatly over the past two years with him finding his own ‘niche’ which he describes as ‘stripped down, energetic club music ’.
