MYNAS is the culmination of four diverse minds with one goal. The intention being to write music in the style of metal without limitations or fears of creativity and with input coming from all of the members of the band. The formula would be simple, but with unique sources upon which to draw inspiration for the music, it would have a sound all it's own. MYNAS would be comprised of musicians that are not only creative separately, but are able to combine their individual talents and produce something that will truly stand out and be noticed... The name might not have been known yet, but the wheels were set in motion in middle school when Dean and Milez first met and became best friends. More than that they became brothers, two guitarists with the same work ethic who could expand on each others ideas and not kill each other in the process. They continued to refine and shape their craft until the day arrived to take the skills they had honed and find two others who would be able to bring the vision of MYNAS to fruition... Robellion has had music in his blood for as long as he can remember. His inspirations run from jazz through rock and into metal. Never enjoying being just a '4/4, keep the beat' drummer, he's always looked for the opportunity to truly be creative in expressing himself musically. Robellion met Milez in May of '09 through a mutual musician they knew and hit it off right away. Very soon after meeting each other, they discussed putting together the band that would be MYNAS... Milez, Dean and Robellion got together to see how the 'juices' would flow while jamming with each other. After just one day of playing together, they decided that this was the beginning of a great band... Dayvin entered the band three weeks after its initial inception. Robellion knew of Dayvin from a project they had been involved with shortly before it disbanded a few months earlier. Robellion suggested bringing Dayvin in for bass duties. Since Milez had already produced Dayvin's previous band's demo, he had knowledge of Dayvin's abilities and agreed. They approached Dean with the idea and with him in agreement they decided to bring Dayvin in for an audition...thus MYNAS was born. .. .. .. .. ......
