My New Enemy is a Canadian Heavy Metal Band from the Fraser Valley of BC comprising of Spencer “Spoon” Clark (lead vocals), Miguel “Migz” Gosano (Guitar), Ross “rEd” Redeker (Bass), Chris “Tex” Lum (Guitar), and Barry “Big B” Branigan (Drums). .. .. All of the members have played in bands previously to My New Enemy, notably Spoon and Migz who were both members of SAM and toured across Canada opening for bands such as: Nickelback; Default; Bif Naked; The Mighty Mighty Bosstones; and Noise Therapy, just to name a few and released two independent albums, “Greatest Hits Vol. 1” and “SAM” a self titled album that sold over 4000 units. .. .. rEd who was born in South Africa started playing guitar at twelve, although he plays bass for My New Enemy, was a perfect addition with his hardcore talent and natural stage presence, not to mention his fascination with serial killers, crows, and most obviously tattoos. In addition, rEd was also in Eugene’s Axe/Diesel Division (Bass); Orbit 966 (Bass); Deadweight (Vocal); and Dredge (Guitar). .. .. Tex who has been playing classical guitar since childhood has embraced the metal music scene and is most noted for the “bloody riffs he comes up with” as the other band members say. .. .. Big B who has the drumming ability to bang out whatever he was dished, who played previously in Eugene’s Axe/Diesel Division which was involved with “Veritable Shrine” a musical Co-op of bands which had Nettwerk Artist Mystery Machine. .. .. The band has worked hard and has continued to work diligently to achieve their perfect heavy, hardcore sound and have built a substantial audience and continues to win over new fans daily.
