So we've finally finished our first full-length album... 'Divello'. It's available to buy from iTunes, Amazon, Spotify and, well, most digital download sites! Once the artwork is complete we'll be selling CD's too, for those of you that aren't into the whole 'downloading' thing. We do have some promo copies though, so if you're nice to us we could be persuaded to hand out a few at our next couple of gigs...
'I Think I'm Made Out Of Robots', our 2007 mini-album, is still available to buy. It's not on any of the download sites, but we have some good ol' fashioned CD's, and we'll be selling those at all future MOF gigs, until they're all gone...
Si, Gaz and Andy have been playing as MOF since 2004, and reside in Bristol, UK. Si has a cat (Mittens). Gaz and Andy have a weasel (Si). They all agree that Roger Moore was the best James Bond. Over the years, they have played with Pissed Jeans, Nine Black Alps and Ivory Springer.
Following EP releases in 2004 and 2005, MOF released a mini-album, 'I Think I'm Made Out Of Robots', in 2007. 'Divello', the first full-length MOF album, was released on 30th October 2009, and is now available to buy on iTunes, Amazon, and all major download sites.
"A bruising, muscular, swaggering sound full of explosive aggression and power, with big heavy riffs and uncompromising songs... puts them in a different league from your average punk, grunge or hardcore band." - Bristol Evening Post
"Vocalist Simon Bamber rages his way through proceedings with all the presence of prime Kurt Cobain; veering between eerie calm and erupting anger whilst the guitars crash violently all around him." - UK Music Search
"Sometimes you hear a band that makes you want to sway in time to the music. Sometimes you hear a band that makes you want to dance in a jerky fashion. Or one day you hear MyOwnFlag and they make you feel like throwing yourself around ignoring all impediments like walls or doors. It’s a bruising experience but it feels good." - Coolnoise
"Reminiscent of influential underground 90’s band Tribute To Nothing and with a hint of Fugazi, they offer an uncompromising noise. There are no fluffy edges, it’s all razor blades and intensity." - SouthSCENE
"Sounds like the noise Slint and Shellac would make whilst having sex, which is a very good thing." - Jimbrim
