Phenomenal Head has played all over Michigan From Lake Superior Brew Pub in Grand Marais to Ricks Cafe in Ann Arbor, Traverse City, Frankfort, and many more. We have also played Grand Marais Music Festival, 11th and 12th annual "annual", and Elberta Solstice Festival. We have opened for many bands such as Howling Diablo's and the Rusty Blaids. Lets get ready to rock!

Phenomenal Head plays a diverse variety of original compositions ranging from eclectic rock to poetic hip hop, with an extremely energetic stage performance, and a large following of committed fans.
Phenomenal Head consists of Harger Boal on vocals -an English major from Olivet College; Jimmy Olson ..boards -a jazz trained graduate from Interlochen Arts Academy, and a member of the band Egon; Dan Johansson, the bass player with over 10 years of experience, and the bass player for the band The Wild Sullys; Kyle Sullivan, the guitar player who is also a member of the bands Egon and The Wild Sullys; Aaron Reitz on drums with over ten years experience and also the drummer for the Wild Sullys. Phenomenal Head has their own P.A. and sound equipment for large or small shows if necessary.
We have played all over Michigan with such venues as the Villa Marine of Frankfort, Cabbage Shed, Union Street Station, Killkennys of Traverse City, Ricks Café in Ann Arbor, Lake Superior Brew Pub in the Upper Peninsula, the Loading dock of Traverse City, Traverse City Opera House, 11th and 12th annual “Annual,” various social events, the 2007 Grand Marais Music Festiva,and 2008 Elberta Solstice Festivall. Phenomenal Head has also opened for the Howling Diablo’s on more than one occasion.

Alphanaut is a one-man electronica project by musician Mark Alan, which lifted off after a decade away from song writing. During the time between Fall of 2007 and Summer of 2008 the creative process began again and two dozen songs formed.
