Formed in London 2008, My Preserver was the brainchild of the need for something better. Their debut EP ‘Under the Gun’ recorded at Mi7 records (Charlie Winston, Kind Charles, Bluey Robinson), brought them a tour and the release of the single ‘Children of the Capitalist’ on the Eastern European compilation disc Credit to the Nation. Having caught the eye of London based promoters the band began gigging across the London scene, playing the likes of Astoria 2, O2 Arena’s IndigO2 and Brixton’s the Fridge. After working on pre-production for their debut album with Paul Castle (the Bloc Heads, Imelda May) at Faraday Studios earlier this year, the band have now begun recording with Justin Premen Underhill (Bloc Party, Klaxons, Jack Penatee) at Miloco Studios…and any where they can find to put their laptops.

The album is due out later this year in conjunction with a UK wide tour.

Hi! Noa and Soph went to London a couple of years ago, and Marcus happened to be one of their guides with Colin. We listened to My Preserver and really liked it, that's the whole story. We just started the band, so we are still working on our first songs. We hope they'll be up quite soon. The Lovers. x
