There’s a basement in that grey building outside of town.
You can kick in the door and go down the concrete stairs and through the dim lighted corridor.
You can hear the noise from outside, but it’s here that it all becomes a little clearer.
four people, switches on. Inside a room it might look like some science lab, and most days it feels much like one.
Drunken animals in a cage, the grin of some masochistic kid with too much time in his hands and a taste for the unusual.
It’s weird down here.
come meet us.
It took a serious amount of roaming around, many beatings taken and given, the sweet decadency of all those drunken nights, what remains of the smell of their skin in the bed and the doomed poetry of the morning after.
But it’s all here, or at least this is what is left of it.
I don’t even remember how we met right now, and it really does not matter.
we're burning things down here.
my propane.
PRESS RELEASE
MY PROPANE is a 4 elements collective that blends alternative rock, electronica and the sensation of riding on a train driven by some drunk man.
The music sounds like what would happen if you took a man, gave him a lot of speed and closed him in a basement for a few weeks.
Nobody ever knows what is going to happen on stage, including the band.
MY PROPANE - Valerio Recenti (Vocals) Paul Breuker (Guitars), DJ van Zon (Bass), Remon Masseling (Drums) is the disturbing evolution of “DRIFT AND PROVIDE”, a project led by singer Valerio Recenti which has been hitting the London scene gaining more and more momentum, and is currently located in the Netherlands.
“This is music that has taken a look at the current state of electronica, turned its back on the scene and is climbing further up the mountain in search of fresh blood and unexplored ground”
“Should you be lucky enough to experience it in the flesh, you will surely latch on to the sensation that they know what’s really going on and you too can be party to this elusive knowledge if you just let go and groove with their madness (that word being used with the best of all possible connotations). Don’t argue - just go with it” - polly rappaport - London
“shit man, that was big” - drunk guy at a London Underworld.
"An awesome offering" - NEON
