Here's a classic scene from Casablanca - no, not that one!
This a scene from the film, Cabaret. It starts so innocently but the whole tone is so cleverly changed and it becomes very, very sinister; sends a chill down your spine:
This is from the original West End production of Cats. I was lucky enough to see it in May '81, just after it had opened. This clip is of Elaine Paige singing 'Memory', another song that sends a chill down my spine and, I'm not ashamed to say, brings a tear to my eyes!

Heroes
very few people deserves to be called a hero because every person claimed to be one is flawed.
A hero is just someone who happens to be lucky; in the right place at the right time.
There are people I admire for their achievements, respect for their stand and their views, and some of many that I hold in this esteem are listed above.
I'm in my early 50s, just, portly but still sexy and debonair!
I am a poet, writer, procrastinator, prognosticator and philosopher! I am also a fervent advocate of all things Apple - the computer, not the fruit!
I pay my way in the world by working as a store manager at an Apple Premium Reseller: an Apple fanboy working in an Apple store! You do the math!
I'm also trying to pen that elusive masterwork and failing miserably though I'm dabbling with writing short stories and poetry - I tend to publish all my new/revised stuff on my blog, Myrddin's World.

I am approachable and friendly with a dry, acerbic sense of humour, so I'm told.
I have opinions on many things and, truth be told, know very little about anything!
I'm a cynic! Well, it came as a surprise to me, let me tell you! No really it did. The fact that I'm ignored, undervalued, unappreciated, living in the wrong place and time where every one I knew, know or don't know is doing better than me, earning more than me, is happier than me has absolutely nothing whatsoever to do with it.
Who I'd like to meet: ... people like me or at least those who share my interests, philosophies and hatreds!
