Mysanthropic Fire nascono durante la primavera del 2007 quando gli Euterpe, composti da Marcello(bassista) e i due chitarristi Michele(chitarra) ed Enrico Usai(chitarra e voce) presero nel gruppo Davide (Batteria). Il gruppo suonava cover dei Guns n’roses, Black sabbath e Led Zeppelin e si cimentò anche nella composizione di alcuni brani propri. Gli Euterpe si esibirono solamente in occasione della giornata dell’arte al liceo scientifico di San Gavino. Il gruppo era alla ricerca di un cantante ed entrò a farne parte Andrea Soddu, che , si dimostrò subito molto interessato. In questo periodo cambiarono le influenze del gruppo in quanto Soddu ascoltava un genere molto più spinto del classico hard rock e perché Davide e Marcello cominciarono ad ascoltare altri generi. Michele ed Enrico però non apprezzarono questa tendenza al thrash metal e così all’inizio dell’estate del 2007 vi fu un cambio di line up e i due chitarristi furono sostituiti da Luca Garau, che si dimostrò subito la persona giusta per il gruppo. Con il cambio di formazione cambiò anche il nome del gruppo che diventò Fire and Ice . La prima esibizione si svolse in occasione della notte bianca di Guspini nel 2007 , dove purtroppo non potè essere presente Soddu per motivi di lavoro e fu sostituito per quell’ occasione da Davide Cadeddu. Il gruppo, che fu molto apprezzato, suonò alcune cover: Master of Puppets (Metallica), Ace of Spades(Motoread), Fire(jimi Hendrix), Jhonny be good (Chuck Berry), Paranoid(Black Sabbath),Nothing else motter(Metallica). Nel gruppo c’era bisogno però di un altro chitarrista e la scelta ricadde sul fratello di Davide, Enrico, che si dimostrò competente, interessato e preso dal gruppo. Con il cambio di formazione cambiò anche il nome che divenne Mysanthropic Fire. Il gruppo lavorò da subito alla preparazione di cover di Metallica, Slayer , Six Feet Under, Children of bodom e Iron Maiden, nella maggior parte dei casi rivisitati in modo da renderli più pesanti. Il 5 Gennaio 2008 Il gruppo il gruppo partecipò ad un contest locale, il Band Road Festival, arrivando quinto. In seguito cominciò anche a lavorare su brani propri nei quali si mischiano le influenze di ogni componente così da creare un genere ibrido che noi del gruppo chiamiamo death, thrash progressive metal. Dopo un anno di duro lavoro e tanti sacrifici Luca comincia a non venire alle prove e a non farsi più sentire; Ad inizio aprile 2009, subentra Mirko, (Howls of Wind).
