We are My Secret Life (MSL), an everything but the kitchen sink kind of band from Detroit, MI. MSL was originally formed in the mid 1980's by Marc Platt (formerly of the X-Citables, The Trend, Marco and the Jetsetters, and 17 Reasons Why). The current version of MSL began in 2001 after the breakup of seminal horn band 17 Reasons Why. The band features the dynamic lead vocals of the incomparable Nicki B, along with the rhymes of Ernest Lee. this combined with the veteran musicianship that the rest of the band provides, completes one of the best live shows in the Motor City.
The band is getting ready to head back to the studio to finish recording their long awaited full length CD "Life Is Rhythm" which will be released in the coming months. In 2004 the band received rave reviews for the EP release "Dancin' On The Edge of the Earth". The EP can be purchased via iTunes or from the 2loft.com website. yo i know i havent made all the shows but i do like the music and it sucks that there wont be anymore but if posssible i would like to get a cd even igf i have to purches it just let me know
