My Sergeant Mask
is a four-piece band from Stoke-on-Trent. Katie, Matt and Ash got together in early 2006 after meeting at a performing arts weekend, whilst Shaun on bass joined later that year. The band developed very quickly from covering other people's songs to writing their own material. Now just aged 17 , they have several professionally shot music videos and recorded songs ready to be unleashed on the unsuspecting public!
2007
has been a massive year for the band. They won the BBC Midlands Today School of Rock competition with ‘Stereotype’ . This earned them the right to headline the National Rock & Pop Festival at the NEC, in Birmingham in July.
The band also played with rock legends Status Quo, on their UK tour date in Worcester, wowing a crowd totalling some 11,000 people. They have also headlined The Sugarmill, Stoke-on-Trent’s largest music venue, and played at The Underground as part of the hugely successful Axis Festival.

"Time to hot-foot it down to the Underground where another up-and-coming name, My Sergeant Mask had already packed out the venue and got it jumping. It’s hard to believe that the band have an average age of just 16, but in Katie Crnokrak – they’ve found a talented front-girl who can not only belt out a tune but really hold an audience. It would be sloppy to just tag them with the Blondie moniker, but in anthem “Stereotype” they have a bona fide hit that Ms Harry herself would be proud of."

the band are awesome i was listening earlier i must say its that drummer ash that makes the band for me haha i will bring tolley down n see you sometime. we neeeed to meet again soon anyways xxxx

oh awesome.. good venue.. yeah lincoln scene is good :) always something happening, bands keep moaning we need a new and bigger venue but ??? i always enjoy it.. you should come play here :) x

hey soz bout the late reply aint bein on in a whil ye sat nights give was fukin awsome... great turn out.... sold quit a few so fancy doin that gig together if we sort somethin out at the mill??? we might finally be a e.p (yes some proper decent recording) we lost our bass player the other day, not what we wanted but were sorted again with a new one... mat x
