Getting the word out to teens everywhere that knowledge about sexuality is helpful, not harmful. Trusting teens with information about sex. Letting the world know that young people should not make decisions about sex in the dark and that young people have a right to accurate information about sex and how their bodies work. And reminding everyone that sexuality is a fundamental and natural part of being human.

Sex, Etc. is an award-winning national magazine and Web site on sexual health that is written by teens, for teens. It is part of the Teen-to-Teen Sexuality Education Project developed by Answer (formerly the Network for Family Life Education), a leading national organization dedicated to providing and promoting comprehensive sexuality education. Answer is based at the Center for Applied Psychology at Rutgers University.

    Thanks for the add. I think the work that you are doing is awesome!! It's necessary!! And It's right on time with "teen choices!" I'm very passionate about working with teens and college students to make good choices. Whether the topic is related to alcohol & drug abuse, teen pregnancy, dating abuse, etc. Personal experience sent me to the school of hard knocks and it took years for me to get on top of my game but, I made it. (Read blog - "The focus of The Sova Leadership Team") As a teen, I made the choice to have unprotected sex and the result was..........you guessed it, teen pregnancy/marriage. As a result, life was difficult, even though I was married. Although I have no regrets at this time for the life that I established, I certainly make it a habit to educate as many young people as possible about making informed and educated decisions.

    Thanks for the add and thanks for the positive message that you are sending out to sexually active students. Although I am practicing abstinence, it will still be beneficial for me to learn the truth about sex and not some abbreviated form of it. The truth can save a lot of distraught and give a ultimate reality check.

    About this page:
    I have been very active in Domestic Violence causes all of my adult life. I noticed a need in the world pertaining to Same Sex Domestic Violence. It happens more than people know. Unfortunately there are a number of gay people who barely consider themselves worthy or valued as a gay person much less a Domestic Violence Victim. There are also very limited resources, statistics, or information, for Same Sex Domestic Violence. Hopefully through empowerment and education we can change some of this.
