Born in 1969.

Started playing guitar in 1980 - completely self-taught in music.

Isn't able to read music but plays the guitar, bass guitar, loves to play djembe and cajon and has even had some drum-education.

Loves to write songs & lyrics.

Played in several rock, soul and pop bands since 1986.

Frontman of a Police tribute band since 2005.

STEPHAN PLECHER - doublebass & piano

Born in 1990.

Classical piano-lessons since 1995.

Attended many workshops and piano-lessons (jazz, swing and blues) in Burghausen and Marktoberdorf since 2003.

Double bass lessons since 2005.

Member of the "Landesjugendjazzorchester Bayern" since 2006.

Young protégé (jazzpiano) at the "Musikhochschule Nürnberg-Augsburg"

Ranked first or second in several "Jugend jazzt" contests between 2004-2008

Received various local and Bavarian-wide talent-awards. What more is there to say ...?

Is always interested in doing something new and playing all kinds of music. Especially pop music as a member of Soulroc!

MAX BREU – drums

Born in 1989.

Has been playing the drums since 2003. Enjoyed two years of drum lessons. Since then self-taught.

Main influences: the jazz club of his father "Boda" Breu. This is where he was inevitably touched by jazz, funk and latin music. Very open to all kinds of music, especially groovy stuff like funk, soul, hip hop, electronic, house.

Regular member of the jazz sessions at "Miltacher Jazzkeller"

Loves to groove and make people dance!

Is looking forward to delivering versatile influences to Soulroc.
