Sadly, to my knowledge, at this time, there have been NO Prog Rock Inductees at all!
Certainly a sorry indictment for such a wonderful collection of earth-shattering, mind-altering, and ground-breaking Music!
Well, I have set out on a long and arduous journey to try and change this sorry state of affairs....
I have set up an online PETITION directed entirely at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Foundation itself.... demanding that the seriously deserving ADRIAN BELEW be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2009!
But one voice out there in the petition wilderness is not going to be noticed, heard, nor taken seriously...THAT IS WHERE YOU COME INTO THE PICTURE!
I need everyone, and your grandma too! - to sign this petition! YES, EVERYONE! That is what it's gonna take to make the change... and I'm confident that, if we all pull together, we can make this a reality....
Adrian is eligible, and has what it takes to make the grade - his credentials are SOLID GOLD! What we have to do is support his brilliant talent with our united voice - shouting out to the Hall of Fame Foundation, that we have waited long enough - and they must listen to us, the music buying public, and act NOW - and INDUCT ADRIAN BELEW INTO THE HALL OF FAME 2009!!!
