Since that nothing seems to be normal. The first two recordings where interdimensional noisetraxx and was made in the summer of 2000. The traxxx, 1 and 2, brought fear into audio. Fe went to be "queerpsychotic bodypop" in 2003 after a darkage with sleepless nights and bodyless visitors. The forces of light are know begging to win the battle and this year some new weapons came through. Becuase I was borned with a hole through My heart I found human relationships difficult already in the childhood. I en skapelseberättelse som utspelar sig mellan verkliga och andra världar föds hon, en utomkroppslig tvillingsjäl till upphovsmannensom uppträder i ett halvvaket hallucinatoriskt tillstånd. Fé är pop, politik, konst, och väldigt mycket Johan Hinders – i både kropp och ande. Här återfinns det allvar och den ilska som präglat tidigare bandkonstellationer som Audionom och Det sluttande planet, samt svårigheten för lyssnaren/betraktaren att genrebestämma och generalisera. Även om det går att peka ut influenser och föregångare så finns här en bestämd känsla av originalitet, något som inte går att hitta någon annanstans. Soundmässigt genomstrålas skivan av ekon från EBM, synthpop, tysk New Wave och mer experimentell konstmusik. Det bombastiska soundet dramatiserar och matchar de ödesmättade och fragmentariska texterna. Att uppleva Fé-konceptet i sin helhet på scen med Hinders androgyna uppenbarelse i centrum är mäktigt, och kanske är det orättvist att jämföra detta med Fé på skiva. Men albumet The War of Art som album och självständigt verk övertygar ändå . Inledande ”This Feeling” är en suggestiv och dramatisk programförklaring, och hitten ”Heaven & Earth” är dansant trummaskindriven doompop med febriga gitarrslingor som löper över en tjock synthmatta. Berättarjaget i molande ”Pleasure Island” beskriver en värld där kärlek och njutning blivit missbruk och tillflyktsort. Med The War of Art presterar Johan Hinders i sin Fé-skepnad en konsekvent fortsättning på en fascinerande skaparbana – samt bevisar, inte minst, att han är så mycket mer än bara den snyggaste synthoperatören sedan Brian Enos tid i Roxy Music.” / Henrik Palm + + + ”Like the title of this album being an inversion of something familiar, the music on it is that. But in the same way also as it at first seems to be simply an inversion, you are forced to think about it over and over to really understand what the inversion says. References aside, I would claim that the familiar in the music would have to be the feeling of being submerged into a thick swamp and drowned slowly by its overlapping synthesizer swells and minimal bass figures forcing their way into the ears, and generally, the dual experience of slow and fast, pulsing away with the whole body like a puppet on many different strings. But the swamp is in a forest entirely made by hand, that took years and years to build up, and that has finally become a real forest. So it is like knowing it is real and imagined at the same time.
