1010101010101010101010 + - 10.18.08 A slightly vague and incomplete bio: My being, my body, part of my mind, was converted into living the life as a paraplegic long ago (1979) the result of a fall striking and crushing my L-1 vertebrae on an iron railing + + + + + + + + - + - + - Going back some years + + + + + + + I used to play bass guitar in a half dozen rock bands long ago in the San Francisco area where I was born and lived for 29 years. Playing was Pure Bliss, a BLAST, being on the stage, the music pumping Rock n Roll people dancing/laughing, and, getting paid for it! When I wasn't playing I was dancing! + - + - + - + - + - My rig was one Fender American Precision bass (no back up never needed one) and a Standell 150 watt amp with 2 15" speakers - Standell is no longer in business. 10101010101010 + - + - + - + - + - During these years of playing, mind altering substances arrived in San Francisco and the band got into Psychedelic Rock, our night clubs gigs faded, we played a few big outdoor venues. I sold my equipment let my body hair grow and went 'Back to the Land' way far up in the Northwest on a road to nowhere. Do the math; this old body is indeed that 10101010101010 1010101010101010101010 Today 1010101010101010101010 The Present the Now: 1010101010101010101010 Lost in Time and Space 10101010101010 & Computers 1010101010101010 1010101010101010101010 "Ended up in the wrong generation x2" My mind thinks. Way too young in my mind heart and soul but old in the body & years, been around for a long time seen & learned & done a lot of everything. Tried writing poetry, just couldn't write it though. I was living the life of an un-written poet. Lived for years in the deep Northern central Washington woods chopping wood & carrying water, a lot of both, baking bread, muffins, and casseroles on an old antique wood stove, milking my two Nubian goats & watching over a variety of chickens. Walking down a snow covered path to the sauna that was the bath house. I lost myself momentarily after loosing the use of my legs in the fall. Had to leave the land behind and go back to town. Met, loved & felt love from angels in human form who dedicated themselves to saving me for as long as it took. 1010101010101010101010 Then spent over 20 years on Maui planting hundreds of trees bushes, shrubs, bamboo, drummed in a drum orchestra for 4 years, swam in the ocean daily.
