.Mysteriarch, n. - One presiding over mysteries. Biography: In the summer of 2002 in Charlotte, NC (USA) Lord Mysterion (vocals, guitar) and Odhinnskriger (drums) began rehearsing with the intent of creating a fast and symphonic style of black metal. Soon afterward, a full-lineup was acquired and thus Mysteriarch was formed. 2004 saw the release of a 3-song demo titled "Renaissance of the Maelstrom". After several line-up changes they made their first live appearance in December of 2005. In 2007 their debut full-length album "The Majestic Fall" was released through North American label Ophiucus Records. Mysteriarch have shared the stage with bands such as Absu, Blood Stained Dusk, Cattle Decapitation, Cephalic Carnage, Chthonic, Epica, Krieg, Mayhem, Rotting Christ, Sothis and more. They are currently working on recording their 2nd full-length album and are writing material for a future 3rd release. Biography

Mysteriarch, n. - One presiding over mysteries.

Formed in 2001 by vocalist/guitarist L. Mysterion and drummer Odhinnskriger, Mysteriarch wasted little time establishing a powerful and unique style of black metal. Drawing inspiration from the occult, as well as humanity's mystery traditions and the hidden aspects of existence, Mysteriarch quickly became a driving force of the underground metal scene of their hometown of Charlotte, N.C., and by extension the burgeoning regional metal scene of the southeastern United States. The band released the EP “Renaissance of the Maelstrom” in 2004 to a loyal and enthusiastic fan base, garnering praise and positive reviews among the underground metal community.

After several years of extensive gigging and line-up changes, 2007 heralded the release of the band's debut full-length, “The Majestic Fall” on Ophiucus Records. Further establishing Mysteriarch's reputation among the underground metal elite, they began to fully come into their own both artistically and ideologically.

In 2011 Mysteriarch secured a deal with U.S. label Razed Soul Productions to release their 2nd full-length album "Mournful Embrace of Aeons" along with a re-release of the debut full-length album and EP.

Mysteriarch have shared the stage with elite acts such as Absu, Blood Stained Dusk, Chthonic, Epica, Krieg, Manticore, Mayhem, Rotting Christ, Sothis and many more.

With a current dedicated line-up, Mysteriarch continues to push its sound and live performance, crossing boundaries into realms unknown and expanding the limits of musical expression.
