“MYSTERIARCH” n. One presiding over mysteries.
Formed in 2002 by Guitarist and principle songwriter Lord Mysterion and drummer Odhinnskriger,
Mysteriarch wasted little time establishing a powerful and unique style of symphonic black metal.
Drawing inspiration from the occult, as well as humanity's mystery traditions and the hidden aspects
of existence, Mysteriarch quickly became a staple of the underground metal scene of their hometown
of Charlotte, N.C., and by extension the burgeoning regional metal scene of the southeastern United
States. The band released the demo “Renaissance of the Maelstrom” in 2004 to a loyal and enthusiastic
fan base, garnering praise and positive reviews among the underground metal community.
After several years of extensive gigging and line-up changes, 2007 heralded the release
of the band's full-length debut, “The Majestic Fall” on Ophiucus Records. Further establishing
Mysteriarch's reputation among the underground metal elite, the release saw the band fully come into its
own artistically as well as ideologically.
With a current line-up dedicated and well-seasoned, Mysteriarch continues to push its sound and live
performance, crossing boundaries into realms unknown and expanding the limits of musical expression.
Poised to soon record their eagerly awaited second full-length album, Mysteriarch vows to always remain
dedicated to the ideology of true underground black metal.

I am now recording for a new set of releases called the "Persona
Series". These cassettes will be commissioned works (not by content,
but by payment) for individuals. If John Smith in London, England
wants his own Zebulon Kosted album, I will make a 45 minute album (one
side of a 90 minute tape), 2 hand drawn mini posters, I will name the
album after him (Zebulon Kosted - John Smith), and the fan will retain
all rights to the recording (for use of any future release, sampling,
or broadcasting rights). One copy of the album will remain in my
personal collection, and one will be sent to the customer, so that the
only copy that will be in circulation will be John Smiths copy! Each
album is available for the ridiculously low price of $10 (not including
shipping), and will be shipped in its completed form no later than 6
weeks from the date of purchase!!!
