After being first introduced to a recording studio in 1992 by radio personality Ital D, the artist worked alongside and produced music for now popular soca artists Bunji Garlin, Benjai, 3 Suns, Scarface, Gospel artist JD and Reggae sensation Prophet Benjamin.
Mysterious also worked as a co- producer with Tiba and Rasta Phil in the record label called, “Black Star Original”. Though the label didn’t enjoy major success at the time, Mysterious grew tremendously, developing his production and song writing skills.
Fourteen years later, very proud and inspired by his Trinidadian roots and Reggae music he absorbed musical influences from the likes of The Mighty Shadow, David Rudder, Bob Marley, Luciano, Super Cat, Ninja Man, and Buju Banton, the singer, song writer and producer Mysterious is poised to release his first cross over reggae album entitled “This Feeling!”
Already the pre-released singles from this album have been making waves on the reggae charts in Belize, Italy, Toronto, Connecticut and Trinidad. This twelve track album (with a bonus track) was produced in noteworthy studios like Tuff Gong and featuring artist, producers and musicians such as Jah Mason, Fire Grines (a.k.a. Grindsman), Sly Dunbar (of Sly and Robbie), Grammy engineers /producers Barry O hare, Alrick Thompson, lynford "Fatta" Marshall and World famous percussionist Sticky Thompson and Bongo Herman to name a few.
The much anticipated Album is scheduled for it's debut release by Terrelonge recording in January 2007 and is expected to be a major success!
“We need to make a change in our lives,
And I think it’s such a shame!
So, I’ve got to change my scenery;
Things are not how they supposed to be!”
