   About the mysterious chords

The Mysterious Chords are a 3 piece acoustic band from Dublin, writing and playing original material. Pat, Troy and Kieran met in the Dublin School of Guitar where Pat is a Director and teacher. All classical guitarists, they been together now for over 4 years and have been playing regularly around Ireland. Live venues played include Vicker Street, The Village, Temple Bar Music Centre, The Cobblestone, Bewleys Café Theatre, Slatterys, Rathmines and Eamon Dorans. To date they have appeared with performers such as Freddie White, Bree Harris and Wally Page. Live radio performances include FM 104, 98FM, Phantom 105.2, Phoenix FM, Spin FM and Dublin South FM. The bands first single 'Drink The Water' received airplay on many Irish radio stations including RTE 1, 2FM, FM104, 98 FM, Phantom 105.2, Spin FM and BBC Northern Ireland on the Gerry Anderson show.

If you are a fan of the acoustic guitar and want to hear rapid fingerstyle as well as soothing strumming along with excellent harmony singing, this band is a must.

"This Dublin band's formula for success: enchanting melodies, pitch perfect harmonies and beautiful acoustic guitars"
The Metro. Dublin Ireland.

“….densely melodic, and built on a river of elaborate, fluid guitar playing; complex, yet easy on the ear.”
Hot Press

“…the interplay between the guitars is very attractive, and the vocal harmonies are really sweet, making The Mysterious Chords sound like an acoustic Blue Oyster Cult.”
“… The Mysterious Chords are a welcome departure from the hordes of David Gray wannabees.”

Musician.ie

“… if these guys aren't signed in the next year I'll eat my hat.”
Michelle Harding, 2FM - Acoustic Highway
