It was the city of Raahe and the grim surroundings of Kummatti in northern Finland
that gave birth to the most extreme, violent, pitchblack form
of music that is now known as Mystic Grave.
It all came together by the end of the year 2006.
Three individuals that shared a musical vision that was all about being pure and true.
The idea was to combine the grooves of old school death metal with the depth of doom and the filth and sickness of sludge.
A raw uncompromised sound from our minds to yours.
Bands first effort "Doom, Death, Darkness" was released in December 2007.
"Mystigram" was released in May 2009. Gibletface took the vocal duties and A.P. Pagan continues the exorcism with a bass.
Hotter than Kiss, greater warriors than Man-O-War, faster than Judas Priest, better stage shows than Iron Maiden. The legend of titanium and lead, harder and heavier than metal. Bow down to the overlords of metal.
