Saturday May 9th 2009,in Brooklyn New York at the Southpaw with live performance by Dub is a Weapon and some awesome sound systems. My Lions will be working on stage, with some of my Art for sale at the show.
Summer Arts and Music Festival in Benbow California June 6-7th 2009, I'll be transforming the Solar Stage once again. With 3 Music stages and over 200 Artists this is a wonderful weekend of color and creativity. Held at Benbow State Park alongside the Eel River, a great venue for families.
Sierra Nevada World Music Festival June 19-20-21 2009, at the Mendocino County Fairgrounds in Boonville California. Yes! One of my very favorite shows...always a great lineup of Reggae and World Music. Mystic Lion Art will be there in force , i'm decorating the Trees Stage and will have a giant booth next to the stadium. All my years of custom flags will be flying throughout the show.
Rise Up Vermont, June 26-27-28 2009, near Washington Vermont on a 3000 acre farm. This is a new show for me, I'll be Raising the Lions on the the Main Stage and have a booth, looking forward to Mystic Lion on the East Coast and meeting some new and old friends.
Reggae on the River July 18th at Beautiful Benbow Stae Park. Once again i'll be doing the Main Stage with my Backdrops and have a booth....this show was a great party last year, wonderful Roots Music with a lot of families and fun!
Midnite and Prezident Brown September 1 at the Crown Hall in Mendocino Village. I'll have All my large backdrops up.

I am currently working in my Humboldt studio amidst the Redwoods , working on some huge new backdrops, banners and commissions, I'll have some new designs and my tribe of Lions out on tour soon.

we think we are lucky to live these lives we lead. to be a part of the cultural, political and scientific conversation of our time, while able to work one's way through life basically supporting oneself through their art. amazing! frustrating sometimes? yes. unfair sometimes...what isn't? know we are blessed. that is why it is imperative that we speak up. it is our responsibility for being so blessed.

I know PZed is an amazing singer but he never ceases to amaze me with his talent. I've heard this tune, Ease, a few times. He sung it live with just his guitar for me last march (see video below) , and he recorded it on a faster riddim for WaveStorm, but his new version with just his guitar again, is beyond awesome!!!! I mean, if I was on a desert island and had to hear one song for the rest of my days on earth, I would want it to be this song!!!! He does mention sensimillia and weed in it though, so not sure if it'll hit #1 in Jamaica, but the rest of the world should LOVE this song! I played it on my radio show today, pulled it up at least 3 times, and have listened to it 100 times since.
